Team Karrie (narrated by Blakey)
I am team Karrie's biggest fan! This September my favorite Auntie ran a half marathon. Crazy, I know, but she did it and I of course I was there (#1 fan), to cheer her on.
Aunt Karrie is looking good here at mile 7 or so. (No one was really sure which mile this was?!) The racers ran through downtown Bothell, right by grandma's house.

I caught up again to Karrie at mile 11 (that's what that sign in the pictures says). She was definitely looking a bit more tired of all that running at this point. I told her to take a quick drink and then keep going! I knew she could finish those last couple miles strong. If my mom would have been more prepared she would have brought a jogging stroller for me and threw on her running shoes so we could have run those last couple miles with Karrie.
She's got quite a following!
Still looking good after a little over 13 miles of running.
This is right before the last corner to the finish line.
I (Blake) was totally impressed with how well she did.
Auntie Karrie and I go way back . . .

Best Auntie
(Narrated by Tate) Karrie is the best Auntie around. She takes me with her to baseball games and lets me eat right off her plate!
She came to the Point Defiance Zoo with us and showed me all the animals.
Auntie Karrie lets me be her best buddy at the family reunion. She's a great date to the Evergreen State Fair. She took me to see the animals and chased me around the entire fair.
And I really like her new hair cut:) Auntie Karrie does lots for me. That's why I tell Heavenly Father I'm thankful for her every night when I say my prayers.

Forcing her hand
(narrated by her sister LeeAnn) I've been telling Karrie for a long time that she should start a blog. Her argument for not doing it is totally lame. You don't have to have kids to blog. If for no other reason, it is a great journal to have printed at the end of the year I keep telling her. Lets face it: us married, kid-raising type need to be reminded about how exciting and fun life can be.
Karrie does tons of "blog-worthy" things that I know people want to know about and keep up with what she's been up to. Because I'm such a great sister, I've got this started for her and will keep adding to it if she doesn't!
